Haul from the US!

Hello everyone! I'm back today to share with you my first ever haul :) I don't normally show my hauls since I don't really buy that much stuff in one go. So now that my mom came back from Los Angeles, I figured you might want to know what I asked for as pasalubong :)

I honestly think this should be entitled "maybelline haul" because I definitely asked for quite a lot of maybelline products don't you think? ;) Well I for one don't particularly fancy the maybelline products catered to asian market. Their powders are chalky for my liking and has poor color selection. Their mascaras are clumpy and quite hard to remove. Their bb creams aggravate my oily skin and barely shows up. Although I did like their gel eyeliners and that would probably be it. So to say, their formulation is way different than the US version, which is where it is mainly manufactured. To add to my bucket of frustration, maybelline here in the philippines have very limited products.

From left to right (all from maybelline) - Dream Smooth Mousse Foundation, Dream Lumi Concealer Pen, Mineral Power Powder Foundation, Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser, Dream Matte Powder. As you can see, I practically got everything I wanted from Maybelline that the Philippines don't carry.

Next up my mom got me this sample size (which is quite big for a sample size) of philosophy's purity made simple cleanser and to thre right are two sample sizes of bath and body works love my body, body lotion simple because I like bringing little lotions with me everywhere.

Up next are L'oreal products. From left to right - Carbon Black Lineur Intense Eyeliner and Voluminous Mascara. I was quite happy that my sister gave me the eyeliner. This is one of my favorite liquid eyeliners!

My favorite and most anticipated from the haul was this Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman Stippling Brush. My sister was very generous to add this brush to my pasalubongs! She said that Real Techniques was having a sale. I really wanter the Expert Face Brush but she actually got that one for herself. But that's okay because I can use this along the mousse foundation she got me.

Okay so I took this last one the morning after since I only saw it that time, I mean it came separately with the makeup. This is one of the VERY few scents I use. It's Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea Body Spray. I was surprised that they housed their fragrances in new packaging already. The last time I used this scent it was still in their circa packaging, which I honestly like better than the new one. The new is a bit too tacky. Or maybe it's just me. I like the old packaging!

So that's it for my haul. I am looking forward to doing future hauls for this blog :) Do let me know if you want any sort of reviews with any of the products mentioned here :) thank you for reading!
